These trailers are just brilliant how they build them. Every hinge point has a heavy duty grease zirk right there. The rear door, when you're pushing in that last stubborn cow automatically latches. On the back rear door there is a slider so that you can walk through without opening the whole rear gate. To get that to open you have to move the safety bar and they cut it at an angle so when you turn it it locks and holds it up, lifting it out of the catch hole. No springs that can break. That bar also has to be in the upright position to swing open the rear gate. When you slam it shut both latches lock. That means you have two locks on your rear door to keep it from coming open.
Inside has two swing gates. The front one has one feature. Open or close. All self latching of course. The rear gate opens and closes. But, has a slider to walk through. And, you guessed it. It also self latches.
Even the calf gate up in the neck has grease zirks!
